Video Quality Degradation - ISP Issues

Multiple users across Western Canada reported degraded video quality and pixelation during VRS calls. Investigation identified upstream ISP bandwidth throttling issue. Worked with ISP technical team to resolve. Video quality restored to normal within 2 hours. Monitoring continues to ensure stability.

ASL Interpreter Queue Delay - High Call Volume

Experiencing longer than normal wait times for ASL interpreters due to high call volume during morning hours. Average wait time increased to 8-12 minutes. Additional interpreters have been notified and are coming online to reduce queue.

Scheduled Maintenance - Server Upgrades

Planned maintenance window for server infrastructure upgrades. Service will operate in degraded mode with limited interpreter availability. Expected duration: 3 hours. VideoMail functionality may be temporarily unavailable during the maintenance window.

VideoMail Storage Upgrade Complete

VideoMail storage infrastructure upgrade successfully completed. Storage capacity increased by 50%. All VideoMail messages have been migrated to new servers. No data loss occurred. Service fully restored and operating normally.

App Update Released - Version 4.55

SRV Canada VRS app version 4.55 successfully released to iOS and Android app stores. Update includes bug fixes for call history crashes and contacts page issues. Users should update to latest version for improved stability. No service disruption during rollout.

LSQ Interpreter Shortage - Evening Shift

Limited LSQ interpreter availability during evening shift (6 PM - 10 PM). Quebec users may experience extended wait times of 15-20 minutes. ASL service remains unaffected. Backup interpreters have been contacted and will be online by 8 PM.

Network Latency Issue - Eastern Region

Network latency detected in Eastern Canada region affecting video quality. Ontario and Quebec users experienced choppy video during calls. Issue traced to ISP routing problem. Service partially degraded for approximately 45 minutes. Resolved after ISP corrected routing tables.

Interpreter Training Session - No Service Impact

Mandatory continuing education session for all VRS interpreters on new CRTC accessibility guidelines and best practices for emergency call handling. Training conducted via internal system. All active interpreters participated. No impact to service levels as training was scheduled during adequate staffing hours.

Database Backup Maintenance

Scheduled weekly database backup and maintenance performed during low-traffic hours. All user data, VideoMail archives, and call history successfully backed up to redundant storage. Database optimization completed. Total duration: 90 minutes. No service interruption experienced.

Emergency 911 Service Test

Scheduled quarterly test of emergency 911 VRS routing and priority queue system. Test confirmed that emergency calls are correctly prioritized and placed first in interpreter queue. All test calls successfully connected within 30 seconds. No impact to regular service. System functioning as designed.
